Whale soup today! I spotted a large Gray Whale, that was east bound in San Juan Channel in the entrance to Friday Harbor! Then our local resident J and K Pod Orca Whales showed up on the west side! If they were all there, that means as many as 46 whales!
As far as we know, there are 26 members of J pod, 20 members of K pod and 41 members of L pod, totaling 87 whales…
I’m leaving at noon on Monday, room for two!
